The majority of parents believe they have a good understanding of diversity and inclusion in the context of education. When asked to respond based on their eldest child's experiences, the findings revealed a mixed picture of parents' perceptions. While many parents acknowledge that their child's school takes steps to celebrate diverse cultures, people, and experiences within its teaching, less than half feel that the education system truly reflects the diversity of pupils in the UK and the wider world. Additionally, only a quarter of parents are confident that the current education system delivers the best outcomes for all pupils.
